2020-28-Nelson Street, Stroud Community Consultation (21-09-21)

Vision Mill Architects is currently investigating the possibility of redeveloping 3 Nelson Street, Stroud (the former Nargi’s Tandoori Takeaway) on behalf of the new owners of the site, Marmaritz Takeaway.

 

The proposed mixed use development at 3 Nelson Street, Stroud includes the creation of four commercial food and retail units at lower level and eight flats above.

 

Following a pre-application consultation with Stroud District Council, two options have been developed, one that retains the existing building and the other that replaces the existing building with a new purpose build development. We would like to hear your comments on the proposal in general and to vote for your preferred option.

 

A Public Community Consultation for proposed development was held on 21st September 2021. For those that were unable to attend in person the presentation has been made available to view online. Please see the presentation below and log your comments via the google form provided, so that we can collate them properly.

 

Your comments are important to us and will help us to revise and develop the design further before submitting a planning application to Stroud District Council. 

 

Although it is unlikely that we will be able to respond to comments individually, all comments will be read and taken into consideration. Any concerns raised will be address within the revised design as best as possible.

 

You will have the opportunity to comment formally on the application via the Stroud District Council website once the planning application has been submitted.
