Ronan has worked across a wide range of sectors in the UK
and internationally, most extensively in the residential sector.
He has an intuitive approach to design and place-making,
using a variety of media, particularly hand-drawing, to
collaborate with clients and consultants.
Ronan has a keen interest in working with listed buildings,
with extensive experience ranging from Grade 1 listed
Churches to 15th century Cruck Barns and 17th century
Grade II listed Cotswold Mills.
He ultimately has a passion for the Genius Loci, the spirit of
the place where his projects are, bringing together the past
forms, present features and future needs of a site.
Ronan is also an keen supporter and facilitator of socially-
innovative projects, ranging from designing a Transition
Town Stroud Pound Local Currency encouraging regional
trade to developing a craft-based Live/Work rural entreprise
centre and a Co-Flat development for senior citizens
